National Night Out is on August 5 at 6:15pm. Emily Snyder has generously agreed to coordinate and we have lots of fun activities for a neighborhood gathering (Thank you Emily!). Please plan on stopping over to visit with your neighbors. This evening is a great gathering to meet your neighbors, participate in fun run/walk/parade, play some games/craft and have a smoothie.
Agenda
6:15 – Start
6:30 – Run/Walk Family Fun Race from Longacres/Fawn Hill to Hunter and back. Small prizes will be given to participants.
6:40 – Parade from Longacres/Fawn Hill to Hunter and back – Decorate your strollers, wagons or bikes. Small prizes will be given to participants.
7:00-8:00 – Crafts – Mural painting, face painting, sidewalk coloring, coloring/sticker table and tattoos
7:00-8:00 – Games – Bag toss, ladder toss
7:00 – Entertainment – Fire truck arrives
Treats – Smoothies and water will be provided.
Volunteers Needed for shifts – We are looking for 10 volunteers to donate some time to help with activities. We need help from kicking-off the Fun Run and Parade and awarding prizes to participants.
